I actively seek feedback from varied audiences to ensure that my content resonates widely without compromising my artistic intent. This method allows me to create engaging and inclusive content that stays true to my vision.

El primer paso para tener una visión creativa es partir del punto de vista de las personas a quienes queremos llegar. No podemos hablar de igual manera para todos nuestros públicos, sino que tenemos que representar todas sus voces a través de nuestros esfuerzos comunicativos. To be honest, inclusivity was not top of my mind when creating content. The world is a big and massively diverse place - I accepted I was likely only going to appeal to a niche audience - so I simply focused on creating stuff I enjoyed, and hoped others would enjoy it too. There's so much material out there competing for an audience, if they don't like what you make they will simply switch over to something else. There's no point pandering to lots of different markets. There's the danger, particularly with genres like comedy for example, of making something too bland, generic and inoffensive. Do what you love and do it well I say. 😉

Choosing and segregating your audience is crucial for effective content creation. Writing for different groups—such as medical writers, scientific writers, and content writers—requires distinct styles and focuses. Medical writers need precise, evidence-based information, scientific writers emphasize theoretical frameworks and research methodologies, and content writers prioritize engaging and accessible language. Tailoring your writing to these specific needs enhances the relevance and impact of your content.

Let be honest, without research, the process of your content creation is likely to be bland. One thing, I have found useful is to actively research about a specific target audience. Make use terms that are inclusive and not segmented. The idea behind inclusion is to make everyone feel seen, heard, and understood.

In this era, everyone becomes viral quickly when we understand the “niche” of our account. However, content creators still need to research inclusive words in their copywriting by researching the niche's audiences.

I think audience is like the Landing page for the Writers. If you have not researched about your audience I am sure your execution will not be that much successful as you wanted it to be. My teachers and Mentors taught me one golden rule of Writing, "Writing is 80% research and 20% use of words."

Indeed audience research and knowing their interest is a must. I mean there is no point in serving what the audience is not searching or looking for. You can't sell the comb to a bald person as it will not add any value to him. The same thing applies to the content creation. You must understand: 👉🏻 What the audience is seeking? 👉🏻 What do they want to read? 👉🏻 What do they want to learn? 👉🏻 What do they want to explore? While preparing the content, think from the Audience's POV: 👉🏻 Is the content properly crafted? 👉🏻 Would I approve/like this as an audience? 👉🏻 Does this add any value? 👉🏻 Is it something I can recommend to others? Once you review these core questions, you can prepare engaging & valuable content.

Being a Content writer and Copywriter, I always try to use natural language so person belongs to any age group engage with the content. The alienated or fancy words push back the target audience so they feel unable to resonate with the content. However, the writer has to avoid words that are often used in Open AI and Gemini. We all are familiar with ChatGpt language so, when user read the words including Ultimate, Navigating, Tapestry and more more, he/she may skip reading or may start doubting that the content is Al generated. So be simple, natural and to-the-point while triggering user painpoints and providing solution as well.

Inclusive language is important but can also take away from your content. Gendering is not that difficult in English, but can quickly become hard to read in other languages. In German, for example, many nouns have different articles: der=masculine (m.), die=feminine (f.), das=neutral (n.) and also a masculine and feminine form for groups of people. Consider the English "the doctor/the doctors". In German you have (m.) "der Arzt/die Ärzte" and (f.) "die Ärztin/die Ärztinnen" if you write this gendered you get "die Ärzt*innen" for "the doctors". So use inclusive language whenever you can, but consider whether your content or your commitment to diversity is more important to your audience when your sentences become unwieldy and hard to read.

Inclusivity is important for sure. But the truth is, most of the time, your content will only appeal to a particular group of people or the target audience. But still, what really helps to maintain inclusivity is understanding your motive behind the content creation, researching properly and most importantly using a conversational tone that helps people feel connected and feel like the content is specifically written for them only.

Totally agree with everything that’s been said on this point regarding the imperative to always adopt and use inclusive language in all public contents. So, there’s really nothing further to be said.

Unless it is satire, steer clear of exploiting stereotypes especially with minority groups. Instead, look at inclusivity as a strength. Explore how it can enrich the content using experiences from the members of those minority groups. That way the content has a more authentic feel. Sometimes the best roles should be given to the most deserving in terms of cultural experience. Unless it is difficult to find a fitting outside talent.

Feedback forges and matures the individual on a personal level due to the exposure, confrontation and criticism. It may hurt so bad, but it forges you through the fire and steels you for the future. “No pain no gain”. It becomes so fundamental and vital helping you harness your most inner beauty and strength in times of stress and strife. Fine-tuning and honing one’s skills and mindset. This is more technical behind the scenes, but is still a key thing to consider when making your creative content inclusive. Make it accessible! Yes I know that's a legal requirement in many countries (US, EU, ...) but: Consider how images, illustrations and other graphic content plays a part of your creative "story telling" in your content creation. What do you went to convey? What emotions do you want to elicit? Than use your wordsmithing expertise to put this into the <Alt> tags of your graphics. Next imagine how your inclusive language (see 3 above) will be read by a screen-reader. Is that still the content you would want hear?

Pour maintenir sa vision créative tout en ayant un contenu inclusif, je pense pour ma part que ces 6 points cumulés sont assez pertinents et suffisants. Outre cela, pour aller un peu plus dans le détail ; il faudrait en tant que créateur de contenus évaluer également nos interactions avec notre audience afin de saisir exactement l'essence de leur intérêt pour notre contenu, afin de pouvoir le décliner dans autant de formats que possible. Ajouter à cela de la veille permanente afin de rester proactif et prompt à l'innovation.
