    Employee engagement is such an important aspect of team building, retention, and achieving overall organizational goals that everyone should be involved. Remember that the C-Suite aren’t the only stakeholders involved in this process. You should also include: ⭐ Managers, since most of your employee engagement initiatives will pass through them in one way or another. ⭐ Employees, because, by definition, every employee engagement initiative involves them (and they’re the best people to get feedback from). ⭐ VPs, who will likely have insights about their departments that’ll unlock better ways to use your tools.

    🔎 HR leaders: when it comes to your employee engagement surveying tool, are you exploring every feature (not just the one you bought the tool for)? No matter what need drives you to first acquire that tool, don’t let it artificially limit how you use the platform. During your onboarding process, set time aside specifically for exploring new features, testing them out in small initiatives that’ll give you just enough data to determine which ones are most useful for your organization.

New employees bring a fresh perspective that challenges leaders to rethink the status quo, and managers of these new employees often put extra effort into creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas. But...this encouragement shouldn’t fade over time; it’s essential throughout an employee’s journey. Seasoned team members possess invaluable institutional knowledge, yet they may not always feel their insights are valued as much as those of newcomers. How are you ensuring that tenured employees feel that their perspectives are equally as valued as the insights of new employees?

Tasks that might have taken half a workday take minutes, and HR teams can put their focus back on more important aspects of their work.

    HR leaders, take note: mentions of AI can make employees inherently nervous. Some are worried about losing their jobs to AI while others are more concerned about a perceived decline in the service they’ll get from HR if AI tools are implemented. When adding AI tools to your processes, do what you can to mitigate these fears. Employees need to trust your team, and that trust is hard to win back if you don’t introduce AI in the right way.
