    An organized and thought out interview process will make the experience more enjoyable and efficient for the hiring team and candidates. Please see David's thoughts below and feel free to contact me with any questions....

    ICP, Diverse Talent Pool, Prepared Interviewers & Talent Scorecards Too many times, companies are “winging” their recruiting/interviewing process. Considering, headcount (your people) is probably your biggest expense (actual money spent + opportunity cost when you get it wrong), you need to really spend time developing the right process to get the right results. It starts with your employee ICP (in this case…Ideal Candidate Profile). Then, how are you going to find them? You want to speak to enough to really dial it in and you need to make sure that pool is diverse vs just who comes from your network. Then, who is interviewing the candidates? And, are they prepared with thoughtful questions that will really help inform if this is your ICP? Is there a scorecard that interviewers are using? And, on that scorecard is it very clear what you’re grading on? For instance, scoring for “Culture fit” isn’t really helpful unless it’s crystal clear to everyone how you’re defining Culture fit. Don’t cheat the process. Do it right and you’ll see the results!  My team and I are always happy to help if needed.
