More than 35 volunteers from our Chennai offices supported the event by engaging with the students. Heartwarming Smiles from Kids: Capturing Joy and Innocence. We recently organized a heartwarming event for schoolchildren in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Pune as part of #accessgiving, our Corporate Social Responsibility (#CSR) initiative. Forty-eight of our employees volunteered to spend quality time with the kids, distributing hundreds of delicious chocolates to 1,189 schoolchildren. Their joy and bright smiles truly lit up the day. Last week, Dr.Vasanthakumari Jayaraman (She / Her), a seasoned expert in the #POSH domain with 13 years of experience and a doctorate in Psychology, conducted an insightful and engaging POSH awareness program at Access Healthcare Services. Dr. Vasanthakumari Jayaraman (She / Her), who is a member and trainer for over 100 top MNCs, government organizations, and institutions and serves as an external member of our sexual harassment committee, shared her extensive knowledge and experience during the sessions. The program included two sessions: the first for participants from Operations across all locations in India, and the second exclusively for the HR team. These sessions provided a comprehensive understanding of the POSH Act, specifically focusing on what constitutes harassment and what does not. Dr. Vasanthakumari elaborated on various scenarios related to POSH matters, equipping participants with the skills to handle internal investigations effectively. She highlighted practical hurdles and implications of the POSH Act and shared enlightening experiences from her career, demonstrating real-life applications of POSH principles.
