Our new hires are bringing the August heat as they get ready to make their mark on our firm. Join us in welcoming Jonathan Dorsey, Stephanie Johansen, Matt Garside, Connor Leighton, Jay Brooks, Stephen Keim, and Julian Ford. Jonathan Dorsey and Stephanie Johansen join our Operational & Technical Accounting Team as a Senior Director and Vice President, respectively, to help streamline processes, optimize systems, and ensure compliance. Steve Keim joins our Transformation Team as a Vice President. He’ll help CFOs identify opportunities that elevate performance and accelerate value creation. Matthew Garside joins our Turnaround & Restructuring Team as an Associate. He’ll help distressed companies navigate crises and get on the path from value stabilization to value creation. Connor Leighton joins our Transaction Execution Team as an Associate to support CFOs in navigating a range of M&A initiatives—including financial process optimization, post-merger integration, corporate strategy, and more. Jay Brooks and Julian Ford join our Technology Team and Finance Team, respectively, as Associates. In their roles, they’ll help protect and drive Accordion’s value.

Happy Accordion-iversary to Jonathan Tasca, who drives ATVs almost as quickly as he drives value for our clients. To celebrate year 6, we asked him what he loves most about working at Accordion: “Spending time with teammates at happy hours is so valuable. We all deal with similar client issues, so it’s a safe space to talk out loud, release stress, and laugh. And I know that when we’re back in the office navigating these complex issues in real time, we always have one another’s back.”

Alvaro Velasquez Robles joins our Turnaround & Restructuring team as an Associate to stabilize companies struggling with liquidity and get them back to driving value creation. Sam Scordo (CFO Tech), Charlie Marconi (Foundational Accounting), Dutch Furlong (Turnaround & Restructuring), Luke Tsotsos and Kaoru Fujiwara (Strategic FP&A) join our Analyst Rotational Program which gives Analysts a comprehensive learning experience—with three 6-month rotations across a number of our practice areas.

We’re thrilled to welcome Kevin Muskat, the newest Managing Director to join our Business Development Team. Kevin brings nearly three decades of finance and accounting experience, and has worked on well over 500 transactions in the mergers & acquisitions space throughout his career. With his broad range of expertise across client sizes and industries, Kevin will be integral to our Business Development team’s efforts in driving our business forward.
