Acme Smoked Fish Corporation is one of the leading producers and distributors of smoked fish and pickled fish products in the United States. Founded in 1906, Acme continues to be family-owned and operated. The skill and experience behind Acme’s products continue to be carried on by the third and fourth generations of the family and by a very passionate team of food professionals. Acme’s raw materials are carefully sourced from some of the most pristine waters around the globe. Salmon is sourced from carefully selected harvesting sites in Norway, Scotland, Alaska, Canada, and Chile. Other fish, like Whitefish and Ciscoes, come from local fisherman in the Great Lakes and Eskimo fishing communities in Alaska. NY bagel icon H&H Bagels just launched a first-of-its-kind Lox Flight created in collaboration with Acme Smoked Fish Corp. The two NY brands are elevating the traditional “bagel and lox” experience where customers can effortlessly sample each flavor of smoked salmon. The Lox Flight includes a quarter pound of four varieties of smoked salmon: the classic plain nova, pastrami, and two new flavors including lemon garlic, and chili crisp. They are justtt 🤤!!! I can’t help but just kvell at this moment!!! Jesse Stein and I dreamed up this idea years ago when we worked together at a previous job. I think it was 2015 or 2016, so almost 10 years ago? We called it “the brunch box”. We were inspired by all of the smoked fish flavors that we would taste weekly at Acme’s Fish Friday. I guess it’s no coincidence that I now work on the marketing team at Acme and Jesse works on the marketing team at H&H. We did this!!!! Special shoutout to all that made this happen. Marla Perelmuter for the gorgeous box design. Holly Leung for developing the 🔥 new flavors. Jacob Tupper for supporting the production logistics. Deena Siegelbaum my favorite PR gal. I am a fish lover. When I first joined Acme, I have never heard of hot smoked salmon. But when I tasted it, oh my! Easily my favorite smoked fish. As someone who loves fish and don’t like to cook it (because of the smell in the kitchen), this is perfect! No cook, just peel open and eat. Especially those nights when I come home late from pickleball games. The chefs at Chef Roll does an amazing job showing off the beautiful texture and how easy it is to pair this with ingredients you have at home. Anyone hungry yet? I am!
