On August 1, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the FY 2025 Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) Final Rule, which provides updates to #Medicare payment policies and rates for inpatient stays at general acute care hospitals and long-term care hospitals (LTCHs) for FY 2025. This year's rule includes an increase in overall IPPS payments, in the NTAP percentage, and separate IPPS payments for establishing and maintaining access to essential medicines.
