We are thrilled to launch the Business of Marketing Bootcamp! We have 20 business owners representing six states Texas, Maryland, Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, and North Carolina. This program is providing essential tools to local entrepreneurs, fueling economic growth in our community. AAMA’s goals for BOMB is to bridge the gap for more small-business owners and marketing with the hopes of fostering more sustainable and successful businesses in our community and nationwide. We’re proud to launch this novel program in Alief, a large ethnically diverse community in southwest Houston. Our in-person classes will be held at the beautiful Alief Neighborhood Center. Houston City Council Member District F, TIFFANY D. THOMAS welcomes the inaugural Business of Marketing Bootcamp cohort with a special message. A special thank you to our partners Dana Hewling with b.iD LLC, Chris Martin with 126 Photography, and HP. #BusinessofMarketingBootcamp #SmallBusiness #EconomicDevelopment

The kid with the most knowledge will obtain to touch top dollars .... Ghostface Killah I've always believed that knowledge is power. Knowledge is worth much more than diamonds and gold. The hard truth is that when you stop learning, you get complacent, and you start to fall off. Grand Opening/Grand Closing. I'm excited to announce that I am proud to have been accepted to the African American Marketing Association's Business of Marketing Bootcamp Cohort 1! Everything is about action, and I plan to apply what I learn. My goal is to scale True Digital Marketing to the next level. @aamahouston True Digital Marketing Inc. #marketinggoals #businessdevelopment

This month for community & culture, we wanted to explore the challenges around team building, bonding, and overall task delegation. Do you find yourself strategically teaching? Maybe fighting the woes of lack of delegation? Much is to be said from a one person powerhouse and even a small team. We invite both members and members to join the conversation. We want to hear your hardships and advice. We also welcome you to invite a trusted voice or peer to Impact Hub Houston to contribute. We will provide light refreshments to all guests.
