Today we celebrate the People’s Prince, Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalaniana`ole on the anniversary of his birth. Prince Kūhiō’s legacy includes his advocacy on behalf of Native Hawaiians, facilitating women’s suffrage (the right to vote) and inspiring the Hawaiian Civic Club movement.
