🌟 Alphia Welcomes New Team Member - Jarrod Kersey! 🌟 Alphia is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our executive team, bringing a wealth of experience, expertise, and fresh perspectives to continue to drive our mission forward. Jarrod Kersey brings more than two decades of experience in the pet food industry, and has a well-established wealth of experience in regulatory, food safety, and quality assurance. In his new role, Kersey will lead the Food Safety and Quality Assurance efforts at Alphia. He will establish and enforce quality control procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct audits and inspections to ensure any potential risks are addressed and rectified swiftly. He will also lead supplier management and protect the brand’s reputation by assuring products meet customer standards. Leading the development of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance team, Kersey will establish continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration to guarantee that Alphia is constantly exceeding safety guidelines and producing the best products. “It is an honor to join the Alphia team and to continue my career working with a pet food manufacturer that values food safety, and quality,” said Jarrod Kersey. “Providing safe and healthy food for pets and protecting the family that loves them is my number one priority. 🌟 Employee Spotlight - Rebecca Perry! 🌟 Rebecca “Becca” Perry is a Production Scheduler at Alphia in Pawnee City, Nebraska. Working for the company for the past two and a half years, she says her favorite thing about working for Alphia is “The people. Everyone is amazing to work with and that makes work more enjoyable.” When asked what is her favorite thing about the town/area where she lives, Becca says “I’m a remote worker mostly, but I get the opportunity to travel to the plant in Pawnee City, Nebraska once a week. I enjoy the town and the friendly faces as well as the small-town restaurants.” Outside of work, Becca enjoys going to concerts with friends, attending baseball games, camping when time allows, and spending time with her nephew. Becca loves animals, and has a couple fur-babies of her own. “Nellie” is an eight year old pitbull mix, and “Toby” is her 11 year old cat. She loves to be able to spend time with them when she works remotely. 🐾 Michael Layne, Midwest Senior Scheduler at Alphia - Pawnee City had this to say about Becca: "I’m continually impressed by Becca’s ability to get things done with speed and precision.
