Akilah Anders is a Senior Brand Specialist who leads Look Local First, the non-profit organization established by VizyPay, and had held chairwoman of VizyPay's DEI committee, #ThisIsUs. She is also committed to giving back working with the Animal Rescue League, donating services from her small business, Sister Sister Picnics. She also donated her services to One Iowa, a non-profit supporting the Iowa LGBTQIA+ community and last June, co-hosted a women's small business event, the Boss Babe Pop-Up, which allowed 43+ women-owned small businesses to showcase and sell their products and services and connect with other female entrepreneurs.
