At this year’s American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Leadership Congress, we had the incredible opportunity to give back to the community by hosting the Boys and Girls Club of Kansas City. I had so much fun planning the event and even more fun excecuting alongside some amazing volunteers. A special shout out to our APTA Student Council chair, Matthew Glassoff PT, DPT for leading an engaging and educational session using the PTMovesMe curriculum! The afternoon was filled with interactive activities for the children to learn about movement while having fun with our creative and enthusiastic volunteers. Together, we made a positive impact and inspired the next generation of PT/PTA professionals. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to plan a meaningful event and even more excited for what’s to come.
