Our Changshu Manufacturing Complex 1-2 (CMC 1-2) in China recently hosted a safety month, underscoring their commitment to workplace safety. #TeamAAM at CMC kicked off the event by signing a safety committee banner. Associates participated in a variety of safety-related events, including knowledge contests, hazard hunting games and virtual reality safety experiences. The month concluded with awards for contest winners and recognition for Associates who significantly contributed to improving safety in the first half of 2024.

Building on his first-place finish and gold medal last year, Felix achieved an impressive tenth place in this year's competition.

Aligned with AAM’s commitment to DEI, #TeamAAM in Mexico celebrated their second DEI Week. Nearly 8,000 associates participated in activities, workshops and discussions focused on disability awareness and inclusion. Highlights included hands-on activities hosted by the Institute of Guanajuato for People with Disabilities (INGUDIS), a workshop on respect and empathy and 10 virtual sessions on sign language and understanding disabilities. The week culminated in monetary donations to INGUDIS and Centros de Rehabilitación e Inclusión Infantil Teletón (CRIT), a children’s rehab center.

In celebration of Mental and Physical Health Awareness Month, seven members of AAM’s Detroit-based Young Professionals Associate Resource Group (YPARG) recently took a bike ride around Belle Isle. After an hour and nearly 10 miles of cycling, the group enjoyed a team dinner at a local restaurant to cap off the evening.
