The numbers from Amery Hospital & Clinic Foundation’s 36th Annual Golf Classic & Fundraiser are impressive: More than 75 golfers, 40 volunteers, 23 incredible sponsors and more than $35,000 raised for community health programs! It was a picture-perfect day and all our amazing supporters teed it up and knocked it a proverbial 300 yards down the middle. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who made the day a smashing success!

In 2017, HealthPartners started the Western Wisconsin Rural Family Medicine Residency to boost the number of primary care doctors in rural Wisconsin. This year we're happy to celebrate Drs. Michael Jepsen and Linnea Kruit, our 2024 Western Wisconsin Rural Family Medicine Residency program graduates! During their three-year residency program, they spent the first year training at Methodist Hospital. Then, they spent the next two years at Westfields and Amery Hospital & Clinic. Both physicians will continue providing care at HealthPartners sites in western Wisconsin, Dr. Kruit at HealthPartners Clinic in Somerset and Dr. Jepsen at Westfields. We’re grateful to both physicians for their valuable contributions to our rural communities, and their bright future as partners for good.
