Recently, we teamed up wth Advantage CLE: Tennis & Education, a non-profit organization that provides Cleveland's youth with tennis, STEM, and creative expression programs, for a sports day like no other. From basketball and egg drop competitions to career exploration, the day was filled with learning, laughter, and a lifetime of memories. "It's such a great feeling to give back. People just need to know how important they are in a world where so much negativity has taken place. It's always good to pour into the lives of others," commented Andre L. This week, we celebrated “Bring Your Kid to Work Day” at our Corporate Office. It was wonderful to welcome our families and give them a glimpse into our daily work at Arhaus, emphasizing the values and mission that define us. The day was packed with activities: the kids made 600 care packages for Global Dental Relief, decorated Arhaus “house” cookies, toured the Photo Studio to see how our Catalogues come together, and chatted with our Social Media team about content creation and chocolate chairs. They even had the opportunity to be “CEO for a Day,” meeting with our CEO and Co-Founder John Reed, asking him questions about his role, and exploring the fascinating items in his office collected from his travels around the globe. As part of our grand opening celebration for The Grove showroom in Los Angeles, we partnered with world-renowned pastry chef and chocolatier Amaury Guichon for a truly unique display. Chef Guichon has masterfully recreated two of our most iconic pieces - the Jagger stool and the Finnley pedestal - entirely out of chocolate! The intricate details and lifelike representations of these chocolate sculptures are a testament to Chef Guichon’s unparalleled craftsmanship and artistic vision. This collaboration highlights the intersection of art, design, and culinary excellence. Today we opened our newest showroom at The Beacon La Costa in Carlsbad, California. Located in the coastal city north of San Diego, it promises to be an inspiring destination for high-quality furniture and home décor, alongside the center's collection of thoughtfully curated shops, eateries, and more. This showroom marks the twelfth location in California, and sixth to open within the past year as part of our ongoing West Coast expansion - other nearby locations include Newport Beach and San Diego. In celebration of the showroom opening, Arhaus will make a $10,000 contribution to American Forests, the country's oldest nonprofit conservation organization, dedicated to nurturing healthy and resilient forests from coast to coast. Last Saturday, Arhaus kicked off Pride month by taking part in "PRIDE in the CLE," organized by The LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, and we loved every minute of it.
