Last week we were honored to have a visit from Laney College's machine technology students to show them the incredible work happening on both the Astra Spacecraft Engine and ongoing development across the rocket factory. 

Ever tried standing on a soda can? During these buckling tests, we compress each part of the rocket tank until it buckles to ensure that our first and upper stage tanks will not collapse under high stresses on the pad and in flight.
