This past Friday at the Drive Capital Atlanta office we brought together Startup Exchange at Georgia Tech, their Ship It Program and 25 of the best builders on Georgia Institute of Technology’s campus to support the next generation of builders as they ideate, build, launch and scale 🚀
I’ll share more details in the coming weeks, but im excited to announce our global partners in this initiative to support our early stage builders in Atlanta.

Abdul Hagi - Orchestrate AI: Abdul showcased how to create advanced AI workflows effortlessly using the Orchestrate AI platform, featuring its drag-and-drop capabilities and a marketplace for developers. BTW, he presented to our audience with his wife about to go into labor. Congrats to you, your wife and your family Abdul!
Pavleen Thukral - Magic Data: Pavleen explored the automation of data pipeline creation and management, providing practical insights for engineers and entrepreneurs looking to streamline their data processes.
Vineet R. - Fine Tuning a Foundation Model to Detect Seizures: Vineet shared his work on fine-tuning BrainBERT to detect seizures, highlighting its potential impact on improving lives.
Jessica He - Whimsi: Jessica presented her innovative project that transforms chapter books into engaging picture books using generative AI, emphasizing the importance of accessibility and diversity in tech.
Corey Hartley - Microsoft: Corey presented a demo on Multi Agents and Multi Modality with engaging discussions on the current implications of multi agentic workflows in the enterprise.

Excited to announce that Drive Capital & AI Tinkerers have teamed up with our friends at Microsoft & BAM for our next AI Tinkerers Atlanta event on Thursday August 22nd from 5-8 pm at Microsoft’s Atlantic Station campus.
AI Tinkerers is a global meetup designed exclusively for practitioners who possess technical, machine learning, and entrepreneurial backgrounds and are actively building and working with foundation models, such as large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. For our Atlanta chapter, these will be monthly meetings happening across Atlanta to support the community of builders and the emergence of Atlanta as a Global Tech Hub for AI. 🤖

The 24-hour AI-focused marathon was a whirlwind of creativity, collaboration, and breakthrough moments. Participants turned dreams into tangible prototypes overnight, with the energy and excitement still resonating.
