THRILLED to partner with JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Baltimore TEAM! As part of the $2.45 million, $1 million is earmarked for the Baltimore Civic Fund’s new “Vacancy to Vibrancy” initiative and is being matched by the city. The program helps social entrepreneurs transition to commercial spaces downtown and in West Baltimore. It will go toward the fourth round of funding for the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore’s BOOST program, an effort to help small, minority-owned businesses open stores in vacant space, and toward a new project to revitalized business corridors along West North Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue. Mayor Scott and the Office of Broadband and Digital Equity—a division of the Baltimore City Office of Information and Technology—announced $1.8 million in additional digital inclusion investments through the Digital Equity Fund! We are so proud to support this important work as fiscal administrator of grant funds. Investments through the Digital Equity Fund focus on the City’s communities and populations frequently left behind in the digital age, including older adults, people with disabilities, immigrants, non-English speakers, returning citizens, people experiencing homelessness and LGBTQIA+ youth. On March 26th, the Francis Scott Key bridge collapsed after being struck by a cargo ship. Following a search and rescue operation, authorities are stating that six individuals are presumed dead. In light of this tragic loss of life, we are proud to support the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs in opening a donation account to support these victims’ families and the families of the survivors. The money raised will be distributed to the families of those impacted. While monetary support can never replace the loss of a loved one, our goal is to help ease the burden of those affected by this tragedy. https://lnkd.in/egaB8sHP
