We had a par-tee at our annual Employee Golf Outing yesterday!⛳ Our team golfed for food justice to support local non-profit, Community Food Club GR! Community Food Club is a member based grocery store that provides low income members with a dignified way to get the food that fits their needs and access to nutrition education opportunities. The coolest part? Diagnosing vehicles has never been easier thanks to our new UVeye automated vehicle inspection system! All you have to do is drive through the device located in service lane 2 for a transparent report about your vehicle before it comes in for service. This system uses AI and computer vision to scan a vehicle's underbody, tires, and exterior for damage. Have you driven through it yet? UVeye uses multiple scanners to capture thousands of images of the vehicle as it drives through, which are analyzed by AI algorithms to identify issues. The system can detect a variety of damage, including dents, scratches, rust, leaks, tire wear, and more. It can also identify mechanical issues, anomalies, modifications, or foreign objects. In 1965, Berger Chevrolet celebrated its 40th anniversary by opening a new state-of-the-art dealership on a 6 acre site on southeast 28th Street. Founded in 1925 by W.H. Berger, four generations of the Berger family witnessed the expansion of the dealership onto 28th Street. The dealership you see today sits on the same plot of land but has increased from a 6 acre site to a 19 acre site, has a team of over 320 employees, and in 2025 we will celebrate our 100 year anniversary! We’re proud to not only have withstood the test of time, but to have done here in Grand Rapids as a local, family-owned business.
