The first European Style Organic Infant Formula that meets FDA standards. Founded by moms in the U.S.

Über uns

Bobbie is the first and only mom-founded and women-led infant formula company in the U.S. Our European-style recipe meets all FDA requirements, is made with pasture-raised milk from Organic Valley farms, and is the only infant formula to receive both the Clean Label Project’s Purity Award and Pesticide Free Certification. Bobbie is working to shake the stigma and evolve the conversation around how you feed your baby to one of confidence, not comparison, from how we feed to what we feed. We lost sleep over this so you don't have to.

Our Chief Brand Officer Kim Chappell on changing the script on being pregnant at work 💯⬇️

View profile for Kim Chappell, graphic

Mother | Chief Brand Officer at Bobbie | Shorty Awards 2024 Small Brand of the Year

There is nothing I love more than chipping away at the historically toxic culture of being pregnant at work ✊. Here are the shifts I am personally committed to as a mom of three in a leadership position at Bobbie: 1. Being afraid to tell leadership that you're pregnant ➡️ having leadership help plan an epic surprise announcement to celebrate the news (fake press releases, Figma boards, and even Canva designs!) 2. Feeling guilty to sneak away for appointments or for feeling nauseous ➡️ stating to the team in Slack that you're stepping away because you feel barfy and seeing the team and leadership reply with support and emojis. 3. Embarrassed to tell people your pumping on a call ➡️ celebrating whatever ounces you can pump and the fact that you're a multitasking superhero woman creating food and working at the same time. 4. A mom quietly logs off and leaves the office before months of mat leave to ➡️ Sending a mom-to-be on maternity leave with an "emergency meeting" which is actually a surprise zoom sprinkle, honey roast full of advice from co-workers and kind words. (See video below!) We just got to do this for first time mom, Remi Levoff, recently and I secretly recorded us all doting on her and sending her off in an unequivocally Bobbie way-- knowing we are SO happy for her, we want her to take every bit of her leave, and we will be ready to welcome her back and catch her through the next transition to working mom. You don't have to be a mom to be a part of this change in your office. It's the smallest shifts that can make the biggest difference-- and that those parents will then carry forward when they move up the ladder too. #workingmom #maternityleave #paidleave #workingremotely #parentalleave

"Why doesn't the national stockpile have infant formula? Was there not a woman sitting at the table?"— Laura Modi, CEO of Bobbie Laura talked with Kathleen J. McInnis, Ph.D. and Lauren Bedula from the Center of Strategic and International Studies about infant formula and what it has to do with national security. Watch the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/eAQ7uwfm

What does infant formula have to do with national security? Kathleen J. McInnis, Ph.D. and Lauren Bedula, sat down with Laura Modi, co-founder/CEO of Bobbie, the first U.S.-based manufactured organic formula company, for a discussion on how her company was defined during a national infant formula shortage. She discussed what she learned about the infant formula industry, and how symbolic it is to everything broken in our society for parents. Paid leave does not equal paid vacation. Let’s repeat that: Parental paid leave is not a vacation. It is hard work, and deserves to be protected. For everyone who has become a parent or supported someone through that transition, you know that those early days after bringing home baby are filled with both magic and madness — from sleepless nights to the physical demands of feeding, whether breastfeeding, pumping or bottle feeding, to the general feeling of overwhelm. (But also the contact naps, newborn noises, and family introductions!!) It is crucial that this time be supported. So let’s rally and say it together: It’s time to pass paid leave for all! Visit https://lnkd.in/dm8qKHCh and join us, Moms First, Paid Leave for All and Chamber of Mothers to write a pre-populated letter to your rep. Also, s/o to Jake Taylor on the Bobbie team for capturing this Leaveland journey in his Alabama home and to 2x Bobbie Daddie Tan France for bringing his best Love Island voiceover.

Tan France has entered the Paid Leave chat and this Brit is ready to spill the tea on Paid Leave (or lack thereof) here in America. As a mom-founded and led company that serves new parents across the country, we will not stop getting LOUD about this alongside our nonprofit partners Paid Leave for AllChamber of MothersMoms First. Tan is sharing his own return to work story, the pressure to fulfill contractual commitments days after having his baby boys, and his shock when he learned that protected time isn’t a thing in the US whether you birthed a baby or not. This Queer Eye host, entrepreneur, and two-time Bobbie Dad is lending his voice and his platform to help advocate for Paid Leave for all parents: queer parents, single dad, the dads doing diaper duty, and of course all the moms who are forced back to work before they are ready. Now you can join us and Tan to help pass paid leave for ALL partners. Write your rep—we've already written the email for you: https://lnkd.in/dm8qKHCh

We’ve said this before and will say it again: it was never just about powdered milk. We’re on a mission to change this industry – one bottle, one can, and now, one manufacturing facility at a time. It’s been a hell of journey full of milk, sweat and (happy) tears, and we’re so proud of what this team of parents has accomplished so far and all that’s ahead for our incredible community across the country. Here’s a look at the last 6 years in 90 seconds that brought us to today. And we’re only getting started 💚

We are still waiting for the day that motherhood is recognized as an Olympic sport, but until then, let’s make it easier for the Olympian mothers! Introducing “Bring the Babies”, an &Mother grant initiative supported by Clif Bar and Bobbie to offset travel costs for USA Olympic and Paralympic mothers traveling to Paris this summer with their children and caregivers. The goal? To ensure Olympian moms can focus on winning gold, not on fundraising to cover the cost of bringing their family. Earlier this summer, the Olympic Committee announced that it will provide its first-ever nursery for parent athletes at the Olympic Village. This means that athletes will have the opportunity to have an easy landing spot to meet up with their children and caregivers. But there is a gap: what good is a village if an athlete’s actual village—including their baby—can’t be there because the cost of traveling to the games is too high? That’s why we are so proud and excited to join this initiative to “Bring the Babies” and support four athletes as they travel to Paris to compete for our country. We will be cheering for these moms and are proud to know their babies will be in Paris doing the same 💚 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eryG7QzX #bringthebabies

🚨 Breaking Bobbie News: We are officially sitting pretty in our new manufacturing facility with Bobbie product being powdered, canned and shipped to doorsteps nationwide! In response to the widespread formula shortage of 2022, we knew that being able to serve more families (reliably) meant building the needed supply chain redundancy. So we did just that. Almost a year ago to this week, we acquired American infant formula manufacturing company, Nature’s One and its Ohio-based facility (and this 90,000-square-foot beauty has been our entire focus over the last year to get ready for today). We’re excited to be on the other side of this awkward, brace-faced growth spurt, and look forward to this next era of pearly whites and a steady supply of Bobbie. For this mom-founded and led team, our success has never been solely about creating an undeniably good formula; we wake up every morning committed to creating a better industry, that is resilient, challenging the status quo and never compromising on quality—because our babies deserve it! 💪   To our Bobbie Fam: To say we are grateful for your patience during this time is an understatement. Thank you for riding this ride with us 💚 Read more about our expansion here: https://lnkd.in/eftK3D5C
