This weekend, Bonterra Organic Estates was proud to be the wine sponsor for the 53rd World's Largest Salmon BBQ, the annual fundraiser for the Salmon Restoration Association and a Local Legacy project with the Library of Congress. We joined fellow B Corp members Thanksgiving Coffee Company and North Coast Brewing Company to provide delicious drinks to the approximately 3,000 attendees who ate, drank, and danced the day away to a variety of excellent local music acts in Fort Bragg, Mendocino County. We had a great time supporting such a worthy cause, and are already looking forward to sponsoring next year's event!

Change is in the air at Bonterra Organic Estates! Our Director of Organic and Biodynamic Winemaking, Jeff Cichocki, is retiring this week. He has spent the last 17 years with Bonterra, merging his passion for environmentalism with his talent for making exceptional wines. We can't thank Jeff enough for his many years of service. It's cherry season! 🍒 Butler Ranch is Bonterra's highest elevation vineyard, ranging from 1,700-2,200 feet above sea level, with sweeping views of Ukiah valley and surrounding mountains. This is where our Butler Ranch Single Vineyard red blend is grown. It's also home to an historic cherry orchard, which shares the same Regenerative Organic Certification as our vineyards - hence the cherry tree on The Butler's label! With respect for both the site’s native biodiversity and human history, Bonterra allows the ranch’s existing agricultural footprint to guide planting and other key decisions.
