The idea for Bookshelf Memories started when our founder visited a friend who had just bought a DIY Book Nook kit for his fiance because it reminded them of their travels across the world. It was the coolest thing that he had ever seen! Over the next two years, he got deep into Booktok, crafts, miniatures, and 3D puzzles. Our goals: We want to spark conversations anytime someone visits your home and sees your bookshelf. We want you to put down your phone, put on some of your favorite music, and spend some fun time building. We want you to be able to build a family-friendly space that reflects your love of travel and exploration or reminds you of your home town. We want you to build a home library or reading nook that reflects your experience. We want to give you something fun to do with your family or partner. We want to be able to give a unique gift to someone who has it all.

Hi fellow book nook lovers, I'm excited to share something special with you all. I first fell in love with Book nooks about 2 years ago when my friend bought one for his fiance. Since then, I've bought more than 20 book nooks and I've been designing my own with the help of an amazing designer based in Canada. Together, we made a DIY book nook depicting an alleyway in Tokyo. We found the perfect PCB and all the wires are click on rather than having to cut or combine wires. 5 soft white lights and 2 violet. It's about 300 pieces and realistically takes 7-9 hours to build Mostly MDF and PVC Some cool moving parts like doors that open up to hidden scene
