XB-1 executed its second flight today–flight objectives achieved: ✅Landing gear was retracted and extended for the first time, which is typical of second test flights. ✅A new digital stability augmentation system – or roll damper – was demonstrated for the first time. ✅Tufting was applied to the right wing to verify aerodynamic characteristics.
