This year’s summer barbecue was full of good food, yard games and laughter. We held an employee raffle that raised over $1,000, and Boston Metal matched the amount, bringing the total to over $2,000 donated to the Woburn Boys & Girls Clubs of America. #Collaboration is essential to any success, ours included. This summer, we had an integrated strategic planning meeting to chart our path for the next five years. Our subsidiary, Boston Metal do Brasil, hosted the planning meeting and is essential to the success of Boston Metal as a whole. Last week, we had a Lunch & Learn on the new Boston Metal Women’s Network, our first Employee Resource Group (ERG). Megan Gilbert, Alysandra Hall and Fernando Estrada gave an overview of the Women’s Network’s, which aims to support and empower women in our workplace and foster an inclusive environment where women can thrive.
