The progress on the Nambe Tribal Administration Building is truly impressive!

We’re looking fore-ward to AIA Abq’s 47th Annual Golf Tournament next Monday, August 5th! 

A little bird told us all about the ABQ BioPark Zoo's new Australian Shores & Rainforest Experience Grand Opening this week! We got to say hi to the little blue penguins and the colorful lorikeets. The exhibit’s unique features include a 300,000-gallon penguin pool with a wave machine and water recycling/filter system, lorikeet misters to simulate the rainforest, coastal habitats with floating islands, and heaters to keep the penguins warm in the winter. Both habitats are specifically designed to keep every critter happy whether feathered or flippered. Congrats to the BioPark staff, Studio Southwest Architects, Bohannan Huston, Inc. #ProjectHighlight This three-story student dormitory brings 150 new beds and student support to the students of San Juan College. Our multifamily communities and education teams collaborated on this welcoming and interactive spaces where students can focus on their studies and make new friends. This dormitory draws students from across Northern New Mexico and beyond to San Juan college and gives them a "home base" to nurture their learning. Happy #NationalInternDay to all interns! We'd like to take this opportunity to shout out our amazing interns at B&P! This summer we had 4 interns from various colleges. Our interns add significant value to our team, and we’re fortunate to benefit from their unique skills as they gain professional experience they can carry into their future careers.

The ABQ Office had a blast soaking up the sun at the B&P Family Picnic. We played horseshoes and volleyball while enjoying hot dogs and hamburgers with friends and family. We can’t wait to do it again next summer!

One way to improve job prospects is to upgrade educational and workforce facilities. Case in point: NMT’s $28M enlarging of Kelly Hall, home to the Petroleum Recovery Research Center, a pioneering scientific organization that solves problems related to the oil and gas industry and that provides experiential learning and related training to NMT undergraduate and graduate students in the process. Construction will comprise a two-story, 26,000 square-foot facility featuring numerous cutting-edge labs, a metal shop, office spaces, graduate student offices, and other state-of-the-art components. We’re reel-y excited to announce the #ribboncutting of Netflix’s Albuquerque Studios Expansion! This new 433,000 SF facility expansion features 4 new soundstages, 3 mill buildings, a production office, 2 stage support buildings, and 2 backlot areas. We’ve been given the opportunity help design the #mechanical #electrical #plumbing and #engineering systems. Sustainable systems include 50 #evchargingstations and #geothermal heating and cooling systems. These expansions to the Netflix campus are designed to reduce the facility’s carbon footprint and make a lasting sustainable impact on the community.
