Über uns
The new Center for Human Brain Variation at the Broad Institute seeks to understand biological diversity in the brain. Our mission is to create an atlas of the profound variation in human brain biology using the latest single-cell and spatial omics technologies, to share this resource with the scientific and public communities, and to expand our understanding of the ways the human brain varies in both healthy and neurological conditions. Our interdisciplinary team has expertise in single-cell and spatial omics technologies, neuroscience, human genetics, and computational analysis and is led by Steve McCarroll, Evan Macosko and Kiku Ichihara.

Attention biology, computational biology, and computer science majors! We are looking for motivated undergraduates to join our team next summer for a research internship as part of the Broad Summer Research Program (BSRP). Mention your interest in the Center for Human Brain Variation in your app. Take the next step in your academic journey – apply now! http://broad.io/bsrp #BSRP #ResearchOpportunity
Are you an undergraduate student seeking a meaningful biomedical research experience this summer? Apply to the 2024 Broad Summer Research Program (BSRP) broad.io/bsrp today! This intensive nine-week summer research opportunity is designed for undergraduates committed to biomedical research and an interest in genomics. BSRP has a strong record of helping students nurture their passion for research and succeed in graduate school and scientific careers. Students spend the summer performing original computational or experimental-based research in labs across the Broad's research areas, from cancer to infectious disease to computational biology. Students also become professional science communicators thanks to our science communication course. The application deadline is January 10, 2024!
