This week, we hosted the 21st Annual Fine Arts Mini Conference for Broward County arts educators! We were thrilled to welcome Curriculum Supervisors Joe Luechauer and Donna Haynes-DeGraaf of Broward County Public Schools, and keynote speaker Darius V. Daughtry, who spoke on "Art as Healer." It was a day of creativity, insights and connections. We're excited that our 30+ year partnership with the school district continues to grow, and we can't wait to welcome students for another incredible season of Student Enrichment through the Arts (SEAS)!

Thanks to the Art Curation initiative of Business for the Arts of Broward, we have a new installation of dynamic works by local artist Suzanne Barton now on display in the Gill Gallery outside of the Abdo New River Room. This installation is generously supported by the Dara and Jarett Levan Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward. More exciting news! It’s our pleasure to announce that the Broward Center and The Parker have also been named as two of the top 10 venues worldwide in Pollstar's 2024 Mid-Year Report. This recognition is a testament to our incredible team, partners, donors, artists and patrons. Thank you for your continued support – we couldn’t do it without all of you!

We’re thrilled to announce that both the Broward Center and The Parker have been recognized by Billboard as top venues in the country. Our sincerest appreciation goes out to all our guests, artists, staff, volunteers, partners and donors for helping us reach new heights!  

As the school year comes to a close, we’d like to recognize the thousands of Broward County students - and teachers - who took part in Student Enrichment in the Arts, the largest free arts-in-education program in the country -- thanks to a thriving partnership between Broward Center and Broward County Public Schools. SEAS has been at the heart of our education programs since the doors of the theater opened in 1991, serving more than 3.7 million students!
