  • We are thrilled to announce that the Burmese Community of North America (BCNA) has been awarded a grant to tackle mental health disparity by providing culturally centered training. This grant, covered by WISH-TV, will enable us to offer specialized programs that address the unique mental health needs of our community. The grant will support our ongoing efforts to bridge the gap in mental health services for the Burmese community by offering training that is culturally relevant and accessible. By focusing on culturally centered approaches, we aim to improve mental health outcomes and support the well-being of our community members. Thank you to our esteemed Board Members, Naw Phaw and John Thawnghmung, for their assistance in facilitating this achievement. We also would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the grant providers and all those who have supported our mission.
