The Office of Management and Budget released a HUGE report at the end of last week on telework policy and a trove of data about the extent federal employees are teleworking. Some things you might not expect: 1) 50 percent of federal employees are not eligible to telework at all due to the nature of their positions, such as food inspectors, nurses and doctors at the VA and elsewhere, wildland firefighters, etc. 2) Over 60% of the work performed by federal employees who are eligible for telework was done at an assigned job site (office or other federal facility). 3) On-site work rates for federal employees are largely in line with on-site working rates across all sectors of the economy. https://hubs.la/Q02L5Rjn0
