We’re ready to deliver on the law’s promise to build cleaner, more sustainable economies. With this funding under our belt, we are hitting the ground running and financing clean energy projects that will not only deliver cleaner air, quality jobs, and lower energy bills to American families — but also drive new capital into traditionally underserved communities for years to come. We recently announced our new #SmallBusiness program, Access by Calvert Impact. Access is a national program focused on increasing access to credit for small businesses and access to capital markets for community lenders. The program is currently live and administering SSBCI-supported Loan Participation Programs in four states: Nevada, Washington, New York, and New Jersey. In Las Vegas, Zain Burke, CEO and owner of Validity Construction Services, is using a loan from the Nevada Battle Born Growth Microloan Program (BBGMP) to grow his business. He was in search of a loan to help the business expand into the government sector and the BBGMP was the right fit. Burke said, ‘Know your numbers. Calvert Impact CEO Jennifer Pryce was included on the fourth annual Forbes 50 Over 50, a list that honors women around the world who are doing impactful, innovative work and redefining the image of life and work for women. Jenn was chosen for the investments category for her leadership at Calvert Impact and Climate United, the coalition led by Calvert that was chosen to manage nearly $7 billion of the National Clean Investment Fund.
