Missouri currently allows child marriage at the age of 15. We have some promising legislation pending, which would move the age to 18. However, some Senators are trying to modify the language of the Age of Marriage Bill by changing the age to 17 instead of 18. Please take time today to contact the members of the Judiciary and Civil and Criminal Jurisprudence Committee and urge them to pass SB 767 out of committee with no changes.
