This summer, through our first formalized internship program, we welcomed six interns to the Bou Crew. Over eight weeks, our interns worked on a variety of projects that culminated in capstone presentations. In addition to working as key team members in each of their areas of the business, our interns participated in professional development workshops, speaker series, and even took in a baseball game together. Our interns work ethic, positive energy, and expertise has left a lasting impact. Thank you for a great summer! Last month, we were proud to celebrate and recognize Pride Month in our coffeehouse communities. Highlights from the month include our LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group participating in the Twin Cities Pride Parade and our 'Bou Truck serving with love and making fun happen. In 2023, Caribou Coffee launched our very first Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) focused on facilitating conversation, driving community initiatives, and propelling career development. As our coffeehouse footprint continues to grow, we are committed to ensuring a strong sense of belonging and inclusivity is felt by our team members, guests, and the communities we serve.

We recently hosted our annual general manager conference, bringing together our coffeehouse leaders, support center employees, and coffee partners for three days of connection, learning and making fun happen. As we look ahead to the second half of the year - our cups are full, and we're energized by the future we're brewing together! ☕️✨ Grounded in this year's theme of Connectedness in Technology, BouCon also served as an opportunity for our teams to learn our new point-of-sale system together. Our coffeehouses are often hailed as the perfect first date destination, but this summer, we're taking it a step further! Caribou is excited to announce the launch of our new Tik Tok dating show, Dream Date: A Sip at Love! 💙 The six-episode show is being hosted by comedian and reality TV star, Hannah Berner. Each episode will feature two-contestants in a speed-dating format, with Berner as the moderator, to determine if they're a dreamy match or a real pass. At the center of each date is our new iced beverage line, featuring Fruit Shakers and Energy drinks. Launched last month, the new additions to our handcrafted beverage menu include fruit-forward flavors that make for not only the perfect summer drink, but perfect first date drink.
