In 2024, we're growing our collective of talent from ~20 golfers to 40+, with at least 50% aspiring or current LPGA Tour players. Thomas Fitzpatrick has joined our team to lead our marketing and athlete storytelling initiatives. He’s an expert in digital marketing and has four Sports Emmy Awards to his name for live productions of MLB playoffs and the 2018 FIFA World Cup! It’s been a pleasure to get to know Tom him over the last couple months, and we’re grateful that he’s jumped right in and started rowing hard on key tasks for this summer. Shoutout to Rob Sherry for making the connection to Tom -- big things coming in 2024! Donnie D.

I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new position as Marketing Director at Carry! When I first got connected to Donnie D. and heard about the mission behind Carry, I was hooked. Avid golf fans tend to watch the best of the best on the top tours, but the stories of early-stage pros who are grinding to make it do not get told nearly enough. Having met many of the Carry golfers over the last few months, they are some of the easiest people to root for that I have ever come across. Can't wait to continue to help tell their stories and bring awareness to some incredible golfers with big talent and even bigger dreams in the golf world. If you're interested in learning more about the mission and ethos of Carry, feel free to reach out.

Building putter company Hanna Golf | Writing about the business in golf at Perfect Putt

A 33-year-old mini-tour player is making his first Major Championship start this week. And it's an incredible story. Michael McGowan grew up in the Pinehurst area. Growing up - he played golf at Pine Needles. He played collegiate golf at North Carolina - he's qualified for four U.S. Ams. But golf is damn hard. He has never played a PGA Tour event. His most recent PGA Tour-affiliated events were on the Latin America Tour in 2023. He missed the cut in all three events. His mom played at North Carolina. His dad played on the PGA Tour with two wins. His grandmother is in the World Golf Hall of Fame. Michael still lives in the Pinehurst area. And this week, he is hitting the first tee shot on Thursday morning - in his hometown. In a U.S. Open. This is why I love the U.S. Open - the storylines. Golf is the best sport on the planet - this story doesn't happen in any other sport.

Founder & CEO HerClub | Social Entrepreneur | Helping women leverage golf to gain an edge in their career.

Today is Women's Golf Day! I'm honestly not sure of the origins of this day or why it was created, but for me, its twofold. 1) A day of acknowledgement and celebration (and maybe a great excuse to play golf) for all the women that play the game. 2) It's also a day of encouragement. So many women come up to me and say: "I'm tired of working in the office and the guys go out and play golf" "I don't want to organize the golf outings, I want to be playing in the golf outings." "I want to start playing but I dont know where to start." DO IT. Just start. If this sounds like you, you can do it and there is a community out there to support you, I promise. In that vein I want to highlight other groups and women that are supporting women and golf. Women Golfers Give Back - providing grants to girls golf programs. Make Golf Your Thing - bringing diversity to golf. Fore the Ladies, Inc. - making golf for ladies and everyone. The Femelanated Golfer - empowering diverse professional women Swing Don't Swipe- golf + dating (so smart!) Abby Mann I Becky Dengler I Greta N. Anderson, PhD, LPGA I MaryJo M. I Beatrice Smith, PGA I Jenna Soranno Longen I Ashley Tait-Wengert I Kelly Sanderson I Ellen Ceresko and finally, I gotta shout out HerClub- where we're helping women use golf as a tool to get ahead in their careers. A rising tide lifts all boats, and we are all better together. Find 👏 your 👏 community!

Our Founder/CEO, Donnie D., joined Ryan French (aka "MondayQInfo") to discuss the "Longest Day in Golf" (aka US Open final qualifying). Ryan will be sharing parts of the discussion throughout the week, including Donnie's mini-rant about a "chip on his shoulder" when it comes to advocating for Carry's women athletes and why he's wearing a Shareapy Inc. t-shirt for the interview... https://lnkd.in/eaXDe4b7

🚨 Golf: The Next Big Women’s Sport? 🚨 "This U.S. Women’s Open will look to ride the momentum around Korda to try to top last year’s audience, which was the tournament’s highest since 2014. We couldn’t be more proud of Carry athlete Tyler Collet earning his way into the PGA Championship! His story is remarkable. His high school didn’t have enough players to field a team, and he didn’t play on his college team at Eastern Kentucky University either. But he kept working diligently on his craft and has enjoyed a ton of success on lower level tours, mostly out of the limelight. Rest assured, Tyler is not someone who is content with just earning a spot in the next men’s major though. He’s going to show the world his game belongs on the big stage, and we’ll be at Valhalla to enjoy the ride with him. LET’S GO TYLER!! Donnie D.
