We love seeing kids and their giving hearts in action! Lili created a donation project with planned parenthood as part of her Silver Award Proposal for her troop with Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas. This donation provides our advocates with feminine hygiene products for CASA young adults in need. Thank you, Lili!

Children and youth in foster care deserve an advocate who is invested in their educational success. We recently held our inaugural all-day training summit for CASA volunteer advocates. During this event, advocates attended seminars that addressed critical topics relevant to their cases, providing valuable insights and enhancing their skills. One of the speakers the group heard from was one of their fellow advocates, Joan Ulsher. Joan describes herself as a passionate and fierce child advocate, fulfilling her purpose-filled life of serving children who have experienced abuse and neglect as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate or CASA. This past Saturday, we had such a great time at our 1st annual Summer Training Summit. This all-day training session lets our advocates dive into different scenarios they may encounter on their cases and prepares them for the challenges.
