I was so excited to bring my children to a science talk at The Collider. I knew I was taking a risk, but with the title "Megalodons, Mermaids, and Climate Change: Answers to Your Ocean and Atmosphere Questions," I was willing to take the chance. I have two incredibly curious and precocious children. I think my little boy asked 75% of the questions in the Q&A session. And my little girl told me after that she wanted to be a scientist. I was honestly amazed at the impact this one event had on them. Plus, it was so sweet to see how much the presenters and audience were both in awe of these little 9 year olds. I was so proud!
