Earlier this year, we met Amber, a resilient mother living with her twin boys in an RV without water or electricity. Amber struggled with mental health issues and felt overwhelmed by her circumstances. Our team worked closely with Amber, providing comprehensive support to help her and her children thrive. After moving them into the Caritas Family Center, we facilitated doctor visits, enrolled one son in our on-site Head Start classroom, and are working to have his brother join him in school when he is ready. Today, Amber’s sons are thriving, and the family is healing as they wait to move into their newly assigned permanent home. Each day, more families need support, and we need your help to meet this challenge. Can you help us prepare 100 children for the start of school and beyond? Will you partner with us in this important endeavor? Please join our Monthly Giving Circle now and help us give families and individuals the tools they need to succeed and break the cycle of homelessness. Meet Eddie, a 14-year-old with a story of perseverance. When Eddie, a 14-year-old student with a disability that requires full-time care and a wheelchair, found shelter at Caritas, he had no way of attending his school in a neighboring town. His mother, Maria, said, “The team at Caritas would tell me daily they were working to fix the issue. They would call one person, then another, and another. They told me they would find a solution and worked hard every day until it finally happened.” Now, Eddie is being transported in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle provided by his school district and can join his friends at school. We strive to resolve barriers and provide comprehensive solutions that reduce the mental workload and stress, allowing families to focus on their well-being. We do the background work that, quite literally, gets children back to school and keeps them there to learn, grow, and thrive. Will you help make a difference for more children like Eddie? Please consider making a monthly donation to support the children in our shelter. All it takes is one positive experience to change the course of a child’s life. We see this every day through the work donors like you make possible at Catholic Charities. Be part of the Monthly Giving Circle: https://ow.ly/wj2U50T86E2 #WeAreThere #Belonging #LoveForAll #CCSR

There's no greater satisfaction for us than seeing client goals being met through the buildings we designed together...in particular, when those buildings, like the Caritas Center in Santa Rosa, are making significant impacts in community health outcomes and the reduction and prevention of homelessness. Catholic Charities CEO Jennielynn Holmes recently remarked, "The co-location of services at the Caritas Campus has not just been a vision, it has been a revolution in care and support." 👏
🌟 Exciting news! 🌟 Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa and Santa Rosa Community Health (SRCH) have come together to bring the community a collaborative policy paper on health care accessibility for Sonoma County's homeless population. With the goal of providing empathetic and comprehensive care, this partnership is working towards helping the most vulnerable members of our community. Join us in making a difference! Today is National Senior Citizens Day! At Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa we are dedicated to helping Seniors in our community maintain their independence through our Caring Rides service. Entirely volunteer-run, Caring Rides ensures seniors stay connected to the community by helping them with their transportation needs. For many of our seniors, Caring Rides is one of the few interactions they receive on a regular basis. Our trained volunteer drivers provide seniors with transportation to medical appointments and other errands, helping them stay active and engaged. This program not only enhances their well being, but brings joy to our volunteers. Through their efforts, seniors feel seen, valued, and supported, knowing they are cared for by their community. Join us in celebrating our seniors and the amazing volunteers who uplift them every day! For more information on our Senior Programs or how to volunteer visit, srcharities.org #Belonging #LoveForAll #CCSR #NationalSeniorCitizensDay

Your monthly gift can make a difference that means the world to many families and individuals out there! If you have ever thought about becoming a Catholic Charities monthly donor, the moment to do so is now. At Catholic Charities, we are fortunate and grateful that we have a small but growing group of supporters who have chosen to donate to us on an ongoing and predictable basis. Our monthly donors agree to pledge a set amount of money each month to provide us with a steady and reliable source of income. A source of income that enables us to respond quickly to the families we serve and allows us to be there for them over the long term. Your monthly gift can create lasting change. This sustained support is crucial as we work to help families find stable housing and ensure their children have the resources they need to succeed in school. Your monthly gift can help us prepare 100 children for the start of school and beyond. Will you join us?
