Last week I was thrilled to participate in this fantastic American Cancer Society - Missouri event, which honors a great man who exemplified characteristics like optimism, courage, strength, and hope within his cancer journey. Jim Kavanaugh and I were grateful to also recognize through this event two other inspiring individuals and good friends that lost their battles. For those facing a cancer battle, and for family, friends, and community, the mission to end cancer as we know it couldn’t be more important. Events such as the St. Louis “Stubby” Golf Classic raise critical awareness and research funds (thank you Michael Pugh for driving a very successful auction!) that directly support this mission.
