In honor of Women's Equality Day, the White Sox hosted a “Women in Sports Panel” about growing the legacy of Title IX & the building momentum of the women’s sports industry. Attendees heard from Kim Ng, as well as current and former CHISOX Athletes Abbey Murphy & Kiki Van Zanten.

With help from White Sox front office staff volunteers and members of Youth Guidance’s Working on Womanhood (WOW), the organization held a pregame event where participants assembled menstruation kits to be distributed to young women from Chicago’s under-resourced neighborhoods. Addressing period poverty and fostering a supportive community that promotes menstrual health and education, the event included remarks from Aunt Flow Founder and CEO Claire Coder.

As an extension of Nicky's No. 1's outreach program, Nicky and Sydney Lopez hosted a baseball-themed ice cream social and delivered Sox-branded gifts to patients receiving care at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab 🍦✨

Chuckie Robinson and Jason Bourgeois joined artist Micah Johnson as he gave away 150 Aku backpacks filled with school supplies, coloring books and more to students from the Boys and Girls Club. 💫

Yesterday, the White Sox held Double Duty Classic, an event celebrating the history and tradition of Negro Leagues baseball in Chicago while promoting the next generation of Black baseball players. White Sox ACE & De La Salle senior Francisco Rodriguez was named the game’s Minnie Miñoso MVP.

Earlier this week, White Sox front office employees participated in Bring Your Kids to Work Day! Kids spent the day enjoying Scavenger Hunt Bingo, arts & crafts, a caricature artist, running the bases, VR Home Run Derby and much more!

It all began in 1900... Celebrating 125 years of White Sox baseball in 2025.
