[Para español 👇] 🌟 Final Recycling & Food Recovery Totals from BottleRock & La Onda! 🌟 We’re excited to share the amazing results from the 2024 BottleRock and La Onda concerts at the Napa Expo! 🎉 Over the course of both three-day events, a total of 346 tons of material was generated. Here’s how it stacked up: 🗑️ 63% was reused, recycled, or composted—keeping it out of landfills! This includes: 🌿 4% Dirt (15 tons) 🍂 21% Organics (7 tons of edible food recovery, 53 tons of compostables, 11 tons of wood) ♻️ 38% Recyclables (132 tons) For the events individually: 🎸 BottleRock: 69% diversion rate 🎶 La Onda: 75% diversion rate ---- 🌟 ¡Tenemos la cuenta final de todo el reciclaje y compostaje recuperado de los fesitvales BottleRock y La Onda! 🌟 ¡Estamos emocionados de compartir los increíbles resultados de los festivales de BottleRock y La Onda 2024 en el Napa Expo! 🎉 En el transcurso de ambos eventos de tres días cada uno, se generó un total de 346 toneladas de materiales reciclables. Napa Council also authorized a contract with JV Lucas Paving, Inc. for the Browns Valley Road/First Street Rehab Project. 📉 Administrative Report: The Napa City Council received an update on Human Resource training and the Development Academy, as well as the quarterly recruitment update. [para español👇] 💰New Grant Awarded to the City of Napa! 💰 We are thrilled to announce that Napa has been awarded the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Grant for Hazard Mitigation! This incredible achievement is thanks to the hard work of Congressman Thompson’s office. The nearly $1.4 million grant focuses on two priority areas for vegetation management to protect our critical infrastructure: 1️⃣ 120 acres near Hennessey Treatment Plant, safeguarding our treatment, pipeline and pump station facilities. 2️⃣ 80 acres near the St Helena Hospital on Sanitarium Road, ensuring the safety and resilience of our healthcare facilities. A huge thank you to Congressman Thompson, County Supervisor Cottrell and our dedicated Fire Administrators for their support and commitment to Napa's safety and resilience. 🎉 --- 💰¡Se otorgó una nueva subvención a la municipalidad de Napa! 💰 ¡Estamos encantados de anunciar que Napa recibió la subvención para la mitigación de riesgos para las comunidades e infrastructura de edificios con resiliencia (BRIC)!
