We’re partnering with the State of Maryland to make Direct File accessible for the 2025 tax season, using our state income tax solution, FileYourStateTaxes. This will allow users in the state to seamlessly and easily file their federal and state returns for free. “Code for America is committed to ensuring taxpayers across Maryland have access to free, easy online state tax filing. Through our FileYourStateTaxes tool, more people will be able to file a return and gain access to tax benefits that help working families.
