Community Action Kentucky is the statewide association representing and supporting all 23 Community Action agencies across Kentucky. Collectively, we work to empower individuals and families as they strive to attain greater economic stability, improve health and well-being outcomes and pursue a better quality of life. Through strategic partnerships and the steadfast work of thousands of volunteers and Community Action team members, we are making a significant impact on the lives of Kentuckians in need. With outreach offices in all 120 Kentucky counties, Community Action agencies provide life-changing resources to support a wide array of service areas, including food security, transportation, home energy, early childhood education, senior support, emergency services, housing, workforce development, family advocacy and more.

  • Hello, Kentucky residents! The LIHEAP Fall Subsidy is accepting applications from November 6 to December 15, 2023. Applications will be accepted during the enrollment period, or until designated funds are depleted on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you're household’s income is up to on including 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, you could qualify for a one-time benefit to help with home heating cost. This can include Electric, Natural Gas, Propane, Coal, Wood, or Fuel Oil. To apply, please visit your local Community Action Agency. To find your local office, call 800-456-3452 or visit www.capky.org/network. Assistance received during previous LIHEAP components does not affect household’s eligibility.
