It was a day full of energy! 💡 CPS Energy President & CEO Rudy D. Garza and ERCOT President and CEO Pablo Vegas teamed up with the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce for a State of Energy event to discuss crucial #local and #state-level topics. The conversation ranged from how CPS Energy is executing its Vision 2027 plan, the impact of overall growth on grid demand, how CPS Energy and ERCOT are helping the community, and much more! We thank the North SA Chamber of Commerce for hosting us and Andrew Hunt, P.E., VP from Project Control and Chair of the Infrastructure Council, for moderating an important event on everything #energy. We continue to execute our Vision 2027 generation plan after securing 350 MW of battery energy storage for our portfolio! 🔋 💡 These new storage resources will contribute to overall grid resiliency, economic development, and reliability once completed by 2026. We are deeply grateful for the support and kindness from our community during this difficult time. Clayton Kloesel was much more than a CPS Energy team member; he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Our hearts are heavy, and we will never fully heal from a loss this tragic. The heartfelt messages we've received from our community and from across the country have been a great source of strength for everyone who worked with Clayton. We appreciate our neighboring utilities GVEC, New Braunfels Utilities, City of San Marcos, Pedernales Electric Cooperative, and City of Seguin, and the La Vernia community for their support in helping honor Clayton on Monday.
