The “Founder’s” Award is a recognition we proudly present to one individual at #CSSI, who embraces our company’s Founder, Frank Castillo's principles, vision and spirit while representing CSSI with great pride, integrity, selflessness, a great work ethic and teamwork. The “Founder’s” Award is not solely based on job performance; it also must include elements of spirit, community involvement, and self-improvement – it’s about the well-rounded employee. The 2023 Founder’s Award was awarded to Anna Gaither! Anna Gaither is the Sr. Business Analyst who has been with CSSI for over 12 years. Having the responsibility of building and managing the company's budget is no easy job. Anna embodies CSSI values and includes a daily mantra of “what can I do to help you”. Anna allows for many spontaneous and planned training sessions in which she freely gives of her time to help others understand the ‘Why’ behind financial data. Anna is an active member in her community. She provides support in the children’s ministry in her church, shares her talent of cooking in her community, and participates in a program where she provides meals to people who are going through a difficult time.   Other nominees for the Founder’s Award included: - Carol Clarke - Carlton Fairley - Steve Hansen - Anthony Ianni - Kimberly Joyce - Taft Navarro Congratulations again Anna Gaither and to all the nominees!

This year a new category was introduced to #CSSI’s Employee Appreciation Awards ceremony – The “Best In Class Leadership” Award.  This award recognizes outstanding leadership and demonstration of CSSI Core Values, outstanding performance supporting customer and CSSI goals. Anthony Lindsay, CFCM is the Director of Contracts for #CSSI. He works tirelessly to influence and achieve the best outcome for our employees, the company, our customers and partners.  His consistent display of professionalism, teamwork and our core values are always on display. Anthony's can-do attitude and “whatever it takes” approach allows for internal collaboration, a unified team approach leading to mutual agreements. “ADS-C Climb and Descend Procedure (CDP) – Collision Risk Model (CRM) Review and Comparison” authored by Dr. Nola Shen, Bruce Normann and Dr. Osama Alsalous was awarded “The Best Publication of the Year” at #CSSI's Employee Appreciation Awards ceremony. This paper was presented at the ICNS 2024 conference. Congratulation again on your hard work!

CSSI recently named the winner the Rookie of the Year award, which is presented annually to one CSSI employee in recognition of outstanding performance, customer service, and initiative within their first 36 months of employment. The 2023 “Rookie of the Year” Award was awarded to David Hawkins, a Lead Computer Programmer who joined CSSI in November of 2022. Under David’s guidance the VIDS development team has successfully engaged new challenging tasking due to his steadfast leadership, keen organizational and communication skills, and expert technical ability. David recognizes that his most important asset is his team. He challenges and inspires by setting goals. In the last 12 months, David has developed a small group of diverse individuals into a highly productive and efficient team. He has quickly earned the government’s confidence in his technical ability.
