CURE is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families. CURE got its start in 1975 when Dr. Abdel Ragab gathered together a group of parents of childhood cancer patients to raise money to further pediatric oncology research and establish a support network for families facing childhood cancer. Since that time, CURE has made significant contributions in the advance toward curing childhood cancer and has also provided critical support to thousands of families and children battling childhood cancer. As an organization, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and efficiency. As such, CURE Childhood Cancer has been given Charity Navigator's coveted 4-star rating for 13 consecutive years. Only 1% of charities have received at least 13 consecutive 4-star evaluations. CURE fills a vital role in our local community, but CURE’s reach goes far beyond, advancing research that has the potential for widespread application in the quest to cure childhood cancer. As a result of funding by CURE, new therapies and drugs continue to be tested, and collaborations formed which continue to make headway in the battle against childhood cancer and ultimately finding a cure.

We are so honored to partner with such a generous company. Thank you, Lendmark Financial Services!
On Saturday, August 24, Lendmark hosted its annual awareness and wellness event, Climb to Cure, to culminate our three-month-long fundraising campaign for CURE Childhood Cancer. The event took place at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Ga., where more than 150 employees, along with friends, family, and business partners, climbed the stadium stairs and walked the causeway. This is symbolic of the challenges facing children and families battling cancer. For 2024, we raised a record-breaking $2.1M for our Climb to Cure campaign. Lendmark’s Founder and CEO, Bobby Aiken, presented the ceremonial check to CEO Kristin Connor of CURE. Thank you to all those who made this incredible contribution to CURE possible – you are making a true impact in the fight against childhood cancer. #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth #ClimbtoCure READ MORE: https://lnkd.in/efnngd3u

We appreciate the consistent dedication of our friends at Custard Insurance Adjusters. They recently packaged and delivered great snack bags that we can share with the families in treatment. Vice President Tori Mills said, “We truly value our partnership with CURE Childhood Cancer and are always looking for ways to help this amazing organization. We know how important a small snack or meal is to families in the hospital. Our hope is that these make things just a little more comfortable for these families during a difficult time.”

Once again, we were amazed by our friends at Lendmark Financial Services as they presented a check for an incredible $2.1 million at this year’s Climb to CURE. Lendmark is a remarkable company that is committed to ensuring that children with cancer have the chance to grow up and live out their dreams. Since 2015, Lendmark, its dedicated team, partners, and vendors have generously donated an astounding $8.83 million to support CURE's precision medicine initiatives. This level of corporate philanthropy is truly rare, and we are grateful to each and every person who poured their hearts into the Climb to CURE fundraising campaign. Your extraordinary generosity is changing lives and giving hope to families facing the unimaginable.

Thank you to the Atlanta Business Chronicle for recognizing CURE Childhood Cancer as one of Atlanta's Best Places to Work! The only nonprofit on any of the lists, CURE came in at #6 for small companies. CURE is really special. Not only do we do vitally important work without the resources we need, but we have the most incredible people working at CURE who pour themselves into our relentless efforts to support children and families battling childhood cancer! Truly great people who contribute to an incredible culture! Being recognized among so many outstanding businesses is truly an honor!
