🚧 Project Spotlight: Abrazo West Campus Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Groundbreaking! 🚧 Dibble is proud to have contributed to the new Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital at Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear. Last week, the campus celebrated the groundbreaking of this facility, which will offer crucial rehabilitation services, from physical therapy to advanced spine care. With 24 beds and 27,000 square feet dedicated to rehabilitation, this project will enhance healthcare in the West Valley and create 46 new jobs. Completion is expected by September 2025. 🏊♀️🏗️ Dibble's Dive into Canstruction Phoenix Metro 2024! 🏗️🏊♂️ We are thrilled to have teamed up with Gensler, Holder Construction, and PKA (Structural) for this year's Canstruction Phoenix Metro competition! The theme was the Summer Games, and together, we built an incredible structure of a swimmer in the water. Between our four firms, we donated approximately 4,000 cans of sweet peas and tuna to St. Mary's Food Bank. A special shoutout to Adrian Carvajal for organizing this event, to Krystal Mullen for her hands-on help during construction on Saturday, 8/3, and to Day Ramesh for his invaluable input from a structural engineering perspective. 🚧 Join Us at APWA 2024! 🚧 Keith Faucett, PE, Dibble's Utilities Senior Project Manager, will be presenting "Northwest Outfall Sewer Siphon: Building Bridges to Solve Problems" on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 4:00-4:30 pm in the Agave Room at the stunning El Conquistador Resort. Pima County's Northwest Outfall Sewer Siphon faced significant issues with odors, corrosion, and debris accumulation, impacting the surrounding area. To address these challenges, Dibble utilized advanced 3D modeling to design corrosion-resistant siphon structures that optimize system performance and maintainability. The design included innovative features like a single-pipe flow channel to increase velocity and large access hatches for easier maintenance. This project showcases the power of innovative design and effective collaboration. 🎉 Welcome to the Team, Nate Hittle! 🎉 We're thrilled to introduce Nate Hittle as an Assistant Engineer on our Transportation team in the Denver office! Nate brings four years of experience as a civil engineer in Denver, CO. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University and has already passed the FE exam as a registered EI in Colorado. He grew up in Colorado Springs but moved to Denver four years ago. When he's not hard at work, you might find him on a ski slope or hiking trail, depending on the season. Nate also enjoys hitting the court for rec league volleyball or tossing a bean bag in cornhole competitions.
