Get to know Dr. Nick Honkamp, current DMOS Board President and surgeon who joined DMOS Orthopaedic Centers in 2007, after completing an extensive Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. A Dubuque native, Dr. Honkamp then returned to Iowa to build his orthopedic practice. He enjoys treating traumatic injuries and fractures. Dr. Nicholas is committed to tailoring a treatment strategy that best fits a patient’s lifestyle, including operative and non-operative treatments. In addition to his orthopedic practice, Dr. Honkamp serves as DMOS Board President and team orthopedic sideline physician for Grand View University and Urbandale High School Athletics. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Honkamp enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and four children.
