Big News! 🎉 The United States Department of Defense has awarded RTI International, alongside a consortium of 25+ incredible partners, the Defense Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education Consortium (DSEC) Cooperative Agreement! This collaboration is key to driving impactful STEM programs nationwide. These partnerships will provide unique hands-on learning experiences where students can work side-by-side with the nation's best scientists and engineers on cutting-edge research and development. With up to $190 million in funding over the next decade, DSEC partners will work together to inspire the next generation of STEM innovators and prepare a workforce ready for the challenges of the future. This summer, rising high school seniors participated in the MIT Lincoln Laboratory Radar Introduction for Student Engineers (LLRISE) program. The students populated and assembled a radar, learned about Doppler, pulse compression and ranging, and synthetic aperture radar.
