Let me set the scene- [working parents with teen children, in that season of life where every day is a juggling act] More often than not, we try to speak constructive wisdom, but our children only hear critical lecture. Their hormones have them convinced that anything short of a celebratory parade must mean that we think they, "don't do anything right." They want electronics and solitude. I want a nap and maybe some lasagna. Enter our recent remedy ➡ a ridiculous little card game called, "Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza," by Dolphin Hat Games. It's a fast paced card game that requires hand/eye coordination and a quick response time. Our kids absolutely SMOKE us in this game. They love watching Mom & Dad fumble and fail miserably. It's a time of laughter where our kids get to be the experts. I know...games are not going to solve all of the problems we face as a family, but it's NOT nothing.
