We are thrilled to share that our annual Double Good Days event took place this past weekend at the Kohl Children’s Museum! Hundreds of children with special needs and their families joined us for a day filled with joy, connection, and multi-sensory experiences. 🎉💫 Why is this event so important? Nearly 20% of all children and adolescents have a chronic condition or disability, and their participation in recreational or school sports and physical activity programs is much lower than their non-disabled peers (Action for Healthy Kids). Double Good Days aims to bridge this gap by providing a free, inclusive, and engaging event for these children and their families. Hosted by the Double Good Kids Foundation, our nonprofit is dedicated to offering equitable experiences and creating lasting memories for children with neurodiverse abilities. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and to the wonderful families who attended.
