We're honored to sponsor the Tandem Surf Competition at Duke's OceanFest in Waikīkī again this past week and be present to hand out ice cold Shaka Teas to attendees! Some background on Duke's OceanFest: Duke's OceanFest, held each year in late August on the shores of iconic Waikiki Beach, where Duke groomed his athletic skills that elevated him into becoming the pioneer of “Waterman”, an Olympic Champion, and the Ambassador of Aloha, celebrates the life and legacy of Duke Paoa Kahanamoku. Duke’s disciplines of Surfing, Swimming, Outrigger Canoeing, Paddleboard Racing, Surfboard Water Polo, Beach Volleyball, along with evolutions of his influence that includes Foiling and Dog’s Surfing are shared throughout the weeklong festival by local, international, and mainland competitors and lifestyle enthusiast. Duke's OceanFest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission, in conjunction with the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation (“ODKF”), is to provide resources for scholarships and grants for Hawaii athletes.

Mahalo to all of you for your love and support towards Maui. Our hearts continue to go out to all of those that have been affected by the Maui wildfires. We want to give you an update on our ongoing efforts to provide relief: • ~25,000 Shaka Tea bottles to Hawaiʻi Food bank that will be routed to various organizations in Maui. • Shaka Tea ready to drink iced tea product donations to local retailers for redistribution. • Monetary donation to the Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund. We are continuously seeking opportunities for long-term support and will continue to share ongoing ways you can support too.
